Entry requirements for international applicants:
- Successful completion of at least Year 11 in Australia (or equivalent). Some countries have alternate requirements. Please consult Department of Immigration and Citizenship, [DIAC] for regulations and requirements specific to your country. For more information: www.immi.gov.au
- Students have reached an IELTS score of at least 6.0 general as per country’s immigration requirements and must demonstrate a high level of language literacy and numeracy.*
- International students must be over 18 years of age and hold a valid passport (if studying abroad) that covers the duration of the course.
- Provide a written and signed reference or signed school report from your previous educational institution.**
- Provide the last two years of study transcripts/results. (if applicable) **
- Provide for inspection/validation, original photo ID and Passport.
- Agree to the Clip Joint Education policies and procedures as outlined in the Student Handbook.
- When possible, attend a preliminary acceptance interview with Clip Joint Education.
- Provide original certificates and/or documents for validation and copy.
- Good eye and hand coordination, colour awareness and manual dexterity.
- A creative instinct is an asset.
- Able to study on a full time basis (alternate arrangements may be available after discussion with the Academy Manager).
- Successful completion of Certificate III in Hairdressing [for Certificate IV students only]
- Agreement to the policies and procedures as set out by Clip Joint Education.
* The certified copy or original certificate showing your achieved IELTS score must be presented. Throughout your pre-enrolment interview with Clip Joint Education, you may be required to complete a Language, Literacy & Numeracy assessment on which acceptance to the course will also be based. A high level of English conversation skill must also be demonstrated throughout enrolment. Clip Joint Education may recommend an alternative test or English language course be completed prior to acceptance.
** It will be to the discretion of the Clip Joint Education to accept your enrolment based on your previous academic results. In the event that you cannot provide previous academic results or a reference from a previous education institution, your acceptance may not be guaranteed.
