I love:
My wife, my dog, my friends and life in general
At school I was:
A naughty boy!
My parents always told me:
Follow your instincts and you’ll be just fine
I’m inspired by:
Fashion, music and people on the street
Friends say I am:
A crazy workaholic!
My best career move?:
Undertaking a full apprenticeship. It teaches you not only skills but also gives you the experience of real clients in a real salon environment.
Clip Joint Education taught me:
To know your foundation skills like the back of your hand. These are imperitive to everything you will do within your trade. You need to walk before you can run.
My advice to young hairstylists?:
If you want it, chase it and don’t stop until you’re there.

Georgia Gagliardi
Currently Studying
Certificate III, and an apprentice at Clip Joint North Adelaide
Georgia started her hairdressing career while still at school, with a School Based Apprenticeship. She studied one day a week, and worked on Saturdays. This enabled her to complete her year 12 studies, and start her Apprenticeship. She is now flying through her 2nd year and enjoying every minute! more

I chose to study hairdressing because:
I was looking for a creative career, where I could spend time with lots of different people every day!
I am enjoying:
The flexibility, the fun atmosphere and the great teachers at Clip Joint Education. I love that the school is in the middle of the city.
Favourite thing about hairdressing is:
Spending all day chatting with people, in a beautiful salon!
I am inspired by:
The many talented hairdressers I work alongside every day!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
Working as a successful Senior Stylist at Clip Joint. (And hopefully I will have seen a large chunk of Europe as well!!)
My advice to others thinking about a career in hairdressing is:
Undertake any work experience opportunities, network with other people in the industry, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and enjoy what you do!
