All Clip Joint Education’s courses include a tool kit. Having the right tools is an essential part of hairdressing. Clip Joint uses and recommends only the best quality equipment so that you learn from the best.
You may wish to expand your tool kit, please contact Clip Joint Education Administration for information on where you can purchase tools.
2 Day Introduction to Hairdressing Course
Tools and equipment are provided by Clip joint Education
Certificate II in Hairdressing - VET Program
Students pay a deposit to cover their equipment, resources and position in the class. The required tool kit for Certificate II in Hairdressing is provided to students on their first day of training.
Certificate III in Hairdressing - Full Time Course
Students pay a deposit which covers their equipment, resources and position in the class. The extensive hairdressing tool kit is provided to students on their first day of training. A list of the tool kit contents can be provided on request.
Certificate III in Hairdressing - Apprentice Program
Students are required to purchase their kit from their salons preferred supplier. Adelaide based suppliers have the list for the required Clip Joint Apprentice tool and hair goods kit. Be sure to ask for the Clip Joint Education kit - not the TAFE kit as they are different! It is preferred that students have their kit prior to the first day of training, otherwise they will be required to borrow equipment from their salon.

Certificate IV in Hairdressing & Diploma in Salon Management
Students are supplied additional equipment and resources when required during the course.
Advanced Courses
Students are notified on enrolment of the recommended equipment required per course.
