OPTION 1:
Statement of Attainment for the partial completion of -
CERTIFICATE II IN HAIRDRESSING WRH20109
An express VET Hairdressing course giving students a snapshot of the hairdressing industry. Students are given the opportunity to learn basic hairdressing skills in a fun and hands-on environment.
Unit Outcomes
WRHHD202A - Apply single, two and three strand braiding techniques (30 hours) WRHHD201A - Dry hair to shape (40 hours) WRBCS201B - Conduct financial transactions (24 hours) SIRXSLS001A - Sell products and services (20 hours) WRBCS203B - Provide service to clients (36 hours) SIRXCOM001A - Communicate in the workplace (40 hours)
Delivered over a 16 week program not including school holidays. Total nominal hours of study 190 = 25 SACE Credits.
OPTION 2:
Statement of Attainment for the partial completion of -
CERTIFICATE II IN MAKE-UP SERVICES WRB20204
A creative short course where students learn the fundamental skills of design and applying make-up. Giving them the skills to work as a retail cosmetic assistant and the abilities to freelance as a junior make-up artist.

Delivered over a 16 week program not including school holidays. Total nominal hours of study 210 = 30 SACE Credits.
OPTION 3:
Statement of Attainment for the partial completion of -
CERTIFICATE II IN HAIRDRESSING WRH20109 AND RETAIL MAKE-UP & SKIN CARE SIB20110
A short VET course mixing units from the VET Hairdressing and Make-up courses, giving students a taste of both industries.

Delivered over a 16 week program not including school holidays. Total nominal hours of study 185 = 25 SACE Credits.
Study Outcomes
On successful completion of your studies you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the study units completed from Certificate II in Hairdressing WRH20109 and/or Certificate II in Retail Make-up and Skin Care SIB20110, issued by Clip Joint Education.
Please note that the nominal hours of study are recognised towards SACE credits. If a student decides to undertake further Hairdressing and/or Make-up studies, some of the units of competency can be used as credit transfers, therefore reducing study load.
Course Duration
One day a week for 16 weeks, not including school holidays, 9.00am to 3.30pm, (9.00am to 4.00pm for Make-up classes)
The short courses conclude with a Total Look Fashion Parade Presentation to family and friends, where students are awarded their certificates.

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements are in place to make sure that students who gain entry to Clip Joint Education courses have the skills and abilities they require in order to successfully complete their studies. The following are required for all Clip Joint Educaiton courses;
- Good eye and hand coordination, colour awareness and manual dexterity
- A creative instinct is an asset
- Agreement to the policies and procedures as set out by Clip Joint Education
- Demonstrate a passion for hairdressing
- Students who are currently attending Years 10, 11 or 12 at a secondary school in South Australia that are newcomers to the industry who want salon experience as well as those who are seeking a pathway to a Hairdressing Apprenticeship.
- Those who seek work as a cosmetic retail consultant or freelance make-up artist.
Access to vocational courses is open to all students who have successfully attained the pre-requisite English language level as determined by Clip Joint by Clip Joint Education and met any pre-requisite and entry requirements as stated for each course.
Courses will be offered if enrolment numbers are viable and human and physical resources are available.
